The UN Declaration is a Beginning * Our Work Is What Follows
African Heritage Foundation has been building the infrastructure of civilizational repair since our founding. The UN General Assembly's May 2, 2026 resolution adopted by 123 nations, the global moral majority, does not create our mission — it confirms it. The world has caught up to what the African diaspora has always known: the Maafa was not a historical episode. It is a living wound that structures the world we inhabit today.
The United States, Israel, and Argentina voted against recognition. The United Kingdom and all 27 European Union member states abstained. These are not neutral positions. They are a public declaration of continued resistance to accountability. AHF documents this resistance and challenges it, with evidence, legal argument, and the full moral weight of 123 nations.
Declarations without infrastructure are monuments without foundations. African Heritage Foundation is building the infrastructure: a living Accountability Atlas naming Maafa-beneficiary institutions; a DNA Identity Restoration Initiative providing free ancestry kits to every descendant who requests one; a national healing directory for Black and African-centered mental health; and Syntellect AI research tools. This logic would have acquitted the Holocaust. The Nuremberg Tribunals prosecuted acts that were entirely legal under domestic Nazi law at the time they occurred.
